Contests Our 2022-23 Student Contest Calendar This year's lineup mixes classic challenges with new opportunities. Artists ages 1518, or grades 1012 are encouraged to apply in the discipline of their choice: Classical Music, Dance, Design Arts, Film, Jazz, Photography, Theater, Visual Arts, Voice, and Writing. High school seniors in the United states who are interested in enrolling in these courses straight after high school are encouraged to enter. This contest challenges students in grades 5-8 to design and create a working invention/artwork that incorporates at least one rubber band.
